Charging machine

The tiltable rotary kiln is a high-performance smelting system, so that it is not recommended to charge it with front-end loaders or similar appliances. In order to gear the charging operations to the kiln's working cycle without losing time, a charging appliance has been developed that can be docked to the kiln's exhaust-gas hood and thus facilitates speedy charging.

Design features

  • stable, two-axial (if required) chassis made of solid flat-steel hollow profiles,

  • unbalanced charging gutter with 2 drives, shifted onto steel springs,

  • charging bunker made of re-enforceable steel sheeting.

The unbalanced charging gutter will replaced by a trough with a sliding plate, when hearth-type furnaces are to be charged.
